Why I chose pharmacy: I chose pharmacy because of my Grandfather, my love for science, and my desire to make a positive impact in healthcare for the patients I serve. As a young girl, my grandfather told me stories about his father, who was a pharmacist, and the impact he made on the community. My grandfather, a retired biology teacher, said if he were to do it again, he would have become a pharmacist. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away during my sophomore year of high school, the same year that I took AP Biology. My grandfather and I bonded over our shared love for science when I was young, and I still feel connected to him today because of it. I know he would be so proud of me for choosing pharmacy.
Why I chose ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app I chose ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app because of the wide variety of rotations offered during the year. ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app grants residents countless learning opportunities, which is something that stood out to me from the beginning. On my interview, everyone I spoke to was so kind and welcoming to me. It was evident that preceptors want their residents to succeed. It is for those reasons that I chose ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app.
Favorite Clinical Specialty: I have a wide variety of clinical interests, I’m not entirely sure which would be my favorite at this point. Some of my interests include critical care cardiology and diabetes management in the ambulatory care setting.
Hobbies: Build puzzles, go on walks or hikes with my dog, listen to audio books
