Applicant must be a graduate of an approved high school. High school rank is considered for admission. The GED equivalency diploma is accepted.

After passing two of the four prerequisite courses at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, students apply to the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app School of Surgical Technology. The applicant should demonstrate physical health, emotional health, and the aptitude for Surgical Technology.
Submit application items to ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app School of Surgical Technology. A personal interview and tour are scheduled when application has been received by the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app School of Surgical Technology. All four courses must be completed, and student must earn at least a 2.0 GPA (no failures accepted) before being officially accepted to the ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app School of Surgical Technology acceptance is based on the personal interview, complete application, and completion of the four prerequisite courses with a GPA of at least 2.0 with no failures.
Prerequisites to Admission
* Required courses for Certificate in Surgical Technology offered at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app Memorial Medical Center. (Note that all courses are required for the Associate Degree).
